This phase includes the selection of proper technology for sound recording. We discuss the clients goals and create a plan taking into consideration location, proximity to source and final output requirements: i.e. audio CD, cassette, micro-cassette, DAT, or videotape.
After data is properly gathered we can then review that data for specific client segment requests. This data may be compiled in short form for demonstration purposes. All initial data is left in tact to preserve context of segment request. The short form may then be output and/or duplicated in all consumer and professional audio formats.
We supply certification of data gathering techniques; including equipment specifications, calibration schedule, comparative results, etc.
Expert witness testimony is available on all above issues. In cases of noise pollution we can provide comparison audio specifications. This means the ability to make frequency matches with those more readily understood by laymen: i.e. relating levels of mechanical sound sources to automobile / lawn equipment operation.
With current technology we have the ability to recreate noise emissions in a courtroom setting eliminating subjectivity with regard to acceptable levels.
Our goal is to relieve the legal professional from the burden of proper audio evidence gathering. We believe that working within a clients stringent guidelines we can provide an accurate source of concise data which will stand up to the most intense scrutiny. |
