Mix Cover Studio A Control Room resence Studios was founded in 1980 by composer/ producer Jon Russell. Originally conceived as a private facility, Presence quickly gained recognition as one of the premier recording studios in New England. The studios have gone through countless upgrades and relocations as its client base has increased from local to regional, national and international.

The current facility is appropriately called Presence Studios Suite 100. A modern two-room facility on a beautiful private estate in Weston Connecticut.

"The primary focus of this new facility" says owner Jon Russell "is to bring our clients a better “Quality of Life' than they can find elsewhere. We believe that the level of a World Class Studio's equipment and acoustics should be a given, but it can't stop there. Our bathrooms and kitchens are similar to that of a fine residential home. We keep the facility immaculately clean at all times and truly care about client comforts, and we enjoy the stress free environment!”

Presence's Studio A is an acoustically accurate mix room equipped with a Neve VR-Legend 60 console. All professional recording formats are supported including 24 bit 96Kdigital as well as 48 tracks of Analog with Dolby SR. Predominately used by the Film and Animation Industry's top Artists, Directors, Producers and Engineers for true real-time timecode lock ADR recording, Music Production and Mixing to Picture. Control A is designed for 5.1 surround and is certified accurate by DTS. The studio also provides the technical requirements for industrial productions and conferences by many of the areas Fortune 500 companies.

Studio B is a state of the art Audio Post Production Suite with its main focus being the Fairlight Prodigy Digital Workstation and the Final Cut Pro editing system.. A smaller room than Studio A, Commercial Advertising Directors and Music/Film/Television producers enjoy the more intimate atmosphere. With the total technical interface between rooms, many clients take advantage of the ability to simultaneously record and or mix a project while edits and post production elements are being completed in the adjoining studio.

In addition to the studios, Presence offers a variety of support services, including ISDN services and on-location recording services. Forensic Audio and media technology support for the Legal community and Same-Day multi-CD & DVD duplication including PAL-NTSC conversions and Video to DVD transfers from many professional and consumer formats.
